Name Marland Backus. Born/Live in Brooklyn, New York. How did you start modeling? This past summer I was in London on vacation. I wound up staying at an airbnb with a bunch of male models and one of them dragged me into their agency. Describe what fashion is for you… Fashion is the most vain form of art, and I’m totally into it. Your favourite fashion designer? I think my favorite designers would have to be my friends, Sophie Andes Gascon and Claire McKinney. They are both studying fashion right now and I think that what they come up with is amazing. Describe your Style I love layering and I’m really attracted to stripes and collars. I also think paperclips make great accessories. Your biggest dream? To go to space. How do you spend your free time? I don’t have any, I’m in college. Favourite film/book/song? My favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo and I currently can't stop listening to Romantic by Run DMT.
